Better Internet for Your Building

Give your residents what they actually want: internet that works

Move Up Internet is a licensed telecommunications carrier specialising in apartment buildings and strata complexes across Queensland. With over 20 years of industry experience, we've partnered with major developers like Aria Property, Citimark, and Cav Corp to deliver what residents actually need: fast, reliable internet at fair prices.

We're part of a new generation of internet providers pushing back against Australia's outdated, overpriced internet standards. While other countries enjoy gigabit speeds as standard, Australians have been stuck with slow, expensive services that barely work when everyone's online.

As an independent carrier with our own infrastructure, we bypass NBN wholesale costs and delays entirely. That means we can offer speeds up to 1,000 Mbps with unlimited data and local Queensland support - all starting at prices where basic NBN plans begin.

The result? Your residents get world-class internet, and you get fewer complaints.

Site Survey and Installation FAQ

Move Up Internet (MUI) is a licensed telecommunications carrier that provides the most competitive price currently in the market for gigabit (up to 1,000Mbps) internet services to Multi-Dwelling Units across Australia.
We have received interest from residents in your building seeking better internet options and we need to conduct a site survey to assess the feasibility of providing our services.
A site survey is a non-intrusive inspection of common areas, communication risers, and equipment rooms to determine the infrastructure required for internet service deployment.
No. The survey is non-intrusive and will not interfere with residents or building operations. Our team will follow all building access protocols.
The survey typically takes 1-2 hours and will be scheduled at a time convenient for the building management.
We will contact building management to arrange a suitable date and time for the site survey. If there are specific access requirements or preferred timeframes, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate accordingly.
If the survey confirms feasibility, we will provide a Land Access and Activity Notice (LAAN) outlining the installation details, required equipment, and proposed installation dates.
Under the Telecommunications Act 1997, licensed carriers like Move Up Internet have the legal right to access buildings for network infrastructure installation. However, we aim to work collaboratively with building management to ensure minimal disruption.
The installation may include Ethernet, fibre optic, and microwave radio network distribution equipment to ensure high-speed connectivity.
No, neither residents nor building management needs to be present during the survey or installation.
No. Our infrastructure operates separately and will not disrupt existing internet services from other providers, including NBN or private networks. Residents can continue using their current providers without interference.
There is no cost to the building for the survey or installation. Move Up Internet covers all expenses related to network infrastructure deployment. Residents who choose to sign up for our services will pay for their individual internet plans.
Objections can be made under specific grounds outlined in the Telecommunications Code of Practice 1997. These must be submitted in writing within the timeframes specified in the LAAN.
